and that's something that you will never know, dear
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Speed stories make me laugh out loud.
Even a chopper would be hard pushed to do Aucks to Hamilton return in much under an hour!

Speed storied make me laugh too. Any monkey can twist a throttle, not every monkey can make a motorcycle go around corners though.

Haha, I did. It was my first road bike, and it would do an indicated 140k in 2nd! Yes, not so hot now, but for an 1984 2 smoke 250 Honda (Not going to say what one, it brings bad luck... if you get my drift, Clue: it looks like a VT).
    The speedo was 40%fast!!!

Wondered why it went past 180 so fast, but every bugger was tring to push me off the road at 100 for the first week!

Made the bike real easy to sell though, even if that model did have a bad rep.

Placing a colder plug in the back cylinder did the trick, I think. There is one still in Feilding.

It had cold plugs all round there Bonez, I melted a front left once, goodness knows why? Well, why that one anyway (didn't sieze though).

It went clack in the rear when I was giving it a few blips on the throttle with no load (Yes, I know now I was silly).

Agree, it wasn't one of Hondas finer products, but taught me heaps... And after all, isn't that what learner bikes are all about?

Yipsirreebob. Honda were putting a goddzillion models out around then and switching their production methods I beleive. Bound to be a lemon or two spat out.
