Speedy recovery for your mate too Sensei.
He is in New Plymouth Hospital I take it ??
I don't think he was a member, there were about five KBers on the ride that I know of.Originally Posted by markauckland
If anything there was even less of the bike than it appears in the photos. The car didn't look too flash either.
Lsst time I went out on a run to Whanga somebody binned it in the rain, but this was a much more serious deal.
How about we all really do take care so that we don't need to have any more posts like this for a while?

Glad to hear the people in the car are OK. Shit imagine it- driving along minding your own business and WHAM!!
Sounds like the biker is going to heal up eventually. Lets hope we all learn something from this.

Fu*k the bike is a total mess.
Hope he heals well.
Flame me, but guys lets remember the Road is a public one and not our own personal race tack/IOM circuit. OK. Getting way to much bad feed back about KB rides lately.

Just curious.
Hope rider makes a speedy recovery and people in car are not too shaken.
