    I don't think he was a member, there were about five KBers on the ride that I know of.

    If anything there was even less of the bike than it appears in the photos. The car didn't look too flash either.

    Lsst time I went out on a run to Whanga somebody binned it in the rain, but this was a much more serious deal.

    How about we all really do take care so that we don't need to have any more posts like this for a while?

    yurrk those photos of the bike make me want to curl up into a ball in the corner and ramble incoherantly-must be a very lucky rider to have made it out of that one. best wishes for gettin better and geting back on the road

    Glad to hear the people in the car are OK. Shit imagine it- driving along minding your own business and WHAM!!

    Sounds like the biker is going to heal up eventually. Lets hope we all learn something from this.

    Fu*k the bike is a total mess.
    Hope he heals well.

    Flame me, but guys lets remember the Road is a public one and not our own personal race tack/IOM circuit. OK. Getting way to much bad feed back about KB rides lately.

    any idea how quick this guy was going? What does "at pace" mean? 140? 170? 200? 250?

    Just curious.


    Hope rider makes a speedy recovery and people in car are not too shaken.
