A mate of mine bought a couple of pairs of Alpinestar gloves back with him from the states about a couple of weeks 1 for him 1 for me...when he dropped them off I found that the large were a little long in the finger so I was a bit gutted and thought I may have to sell them and purchase another pair.
I though the bike shop where I take my bike for servicing may be able to help so I went in to see the guys... I told them the situation that I had the gloves in brand new cond still in the original packaging and had never touched the bike and if they would possibly be able to help me out by exchanging them for the medium sized ones they had on the shelf (same model same colour). The sales guy said no he didn't want to take on any more stock (which doesn't make sense as you are swapping one pair for another) So I accepted his decision and went home.
I had to go back to the store the next day to get them to fill in my service/warranty manual, once they had I asked again if they could help me with glove situation, again they said no so I asked who the other Alpinestar stockists in Auckland were, they said noone in town but they think someone on the shore does but then they said don't bother going there because they aren't a nice bunch over there!! (Ah but neither were they!) How bad is that! putting down other motorcycle dealers even after they didn't even want to try to help out a paying customer!.
I have told all of my mates about there crap customer service and they will be losing more than one customer thats for sure.
I wasn't annoyed that they said no about the gloves but it bugged me that they put down other motorcycle dealers when they couldn't even or didn't even want to help me themselves.
