You spent heaps there? What, like a 2004 model, discounted superbike with no margin in it at all and a couple of services? Big deal.

For the record, a KBer rode a heap of shit SP1 to Auckland from Wgtn, decided to take a look at a horrible Repsol replica, Danny gave hime the sharpest fucken trade in deal he could, just so said KBer would buy from him.

I've worked in bike shops for 5 years total, always been commended on my customer service skills and I wouldn't have said "No" to that request, I would of laughed in your face.
Yeah my thoughts exactly, don't know what goes on in this guys head. Tell him what you think of him via the proper channels and you get put in the sin bin. Oh well

Stick to your guns Fishslayer...there are plenty more shops around that will go out of their way for you.

Flash...It's not good for business when they wont even try to help you so they deserve to be exposed.

Thats the risk you take when importing yourself.
This post smacks of the "we want legislation to protect us from parallel importers" bleats of a few years ago.
Let me remind you, back then, for instance, a Valentine 1 was sold for $1700.
Now,because of P I they can be had for $850.

Political correctness gone mad and here was me thinking it was a safe place to be politically incorrect.

Well hell people, you should try the UK for automotive rip-offs. Or anywhere in Europe. I sold a Spidi jacket to an Italian guy because it was cheaper here!
We live in an insignificant little island at the end of the world, with a population less than most major cities.

    Im missing something here clearly.
Someone buys something cheap bypassing to local supplier
    Hey its a free world.
Then he wants the local supplier -(who he diddnt support in the first place)
    to help him out.
I would possibly have been more polite but if I was the accessory guys i'd be saying no way mate.
Basdly it's the accessory guys job you are putting in jepardy
The bike shop lost a sale -the importer lost a sale and ultimately the only person who gains from the transaction is the person who bypassed them.
Also you have shown just how loyal to them you are by the very act of buying the gloves elsewhere.

    Enough Is Enough

Ok I can see that there a very differing opinions over this thread, I didn't know that starting this thread was gonna cause so much shit and fuck so many people off - Cheers to all for all the lovely abusive PM's and Bad Rep Comments. If I could delete this thread I would but I can't, should have just kept my mouth shut (and no that not an invite for more abuse please - unless you really have to).

now whos the rat sending fishslayer abusive PM's?, ild like to nominate you for something...

still for both parties (for and against), theres no need to get abusive and start throwing bad rep here and there. as i said before we all have different opinions and morals, no need to get in a tiff about it (that goes for everyone)
Well what would you do? Run through the streets stark naked at 350 miles per hour with bells on your toes?

Then why have the rep system at all ?? is it only ok to use when its possitive???? now that we get sinbined for neg feedback why not just do away with the whole thing? its all a bit of a dick sucking contest anyway....
