Lol, as idb said, only in the NI would this happen. Although i have had a lady throw her handbag at me. I almost fell off the bike when I saw the car behind me drive over the bag and then pull over and start an argument with the lady. I even got to go back and be part of the conversation where she wanted me and the driver to go halves in paying for everything in her handbag like her 2 cellphones, PDA, makup and all that other shit.

It got even funnier when she was charged by the police and we got off scot free.

It's customary to return the gesture.

I've had run ins with PI's, Maoris, Chinese, damn near about all kinda people and there's one constant - I managed to piss them all off. The good thing about having a Samoan family is that 7.5 times outa 10 they're on your side.

please don't mess with the cagers while they're in their cage. no matter who's right & wrong they have the upper hand(several tonnes). Just remember... other riders may have to pick up the tab further down the road cos some lowbrow now harbours a grudge against motorcyclists...

Nothing thrown at me but I've had 2 cars (both Boy Racers) pull out on the Thames flats and drive AT me... The first one was in a queue of cars, so I figured that was just the guy not seeing me when overtaking.

The second was on his own. Just pulled out and drove at me... I just blatted the bike down a gear and shot past his line... Very scary though.

My best Road Rage was pulling into my Apartment complex. Just pulling in when the twonk pulls out from a parallel park with no indicator or anything. I stop RIGHT in front of him. Flick the lid up. Get him to wind down his window and say "Hey mate your indicator's not working" all polite like. He's all "Yeah it fuckin' is!" proceeds to turn it on, gets out of the car and checks it - says "SEE?" - I just looked at him and screamed "WELL FUCKIN USE IT YOU CUNT!!!!"

The look on his face - priceless... Especially as I had given him this excuse for not indicating...

Very good comment 750Y I completely agree, however there are times when gets too much. Normally I wave (politely) when I ride past after they have pulled out on me, but this time I had, had enough.

I had a close one today. Admittedly I was in a cage but would have been fucked if I was on my bike.

On my way to the clinic to have a circulation check on the cast and as I was turning right into Colombo st, some old dipshit in an Isuzu Mu decided to turn left into Colombo st. Now its pretty common knowlege that this stain should have waited for me before turning but off he goes anyway. I had to slam on the brakes and come to a complete stop blocking off 3 lanes of Bealy ave while tooting melodiously in his direction. So he stops blocking off 1 lane of bealy and stopping me from turning into Colombo.

Anyway, a quick wave, nod, toot and yell went on and made him move off at the grand speed of 20kph. Guess where he turns into? The fracture clinic! The poor guy must have shat himself in technicolour when I parked next to him because ran inside before I even got out the car.

Was great to sit next to him and say "Didn't see me huh? Thats OK, I ride a motorcycle and if I was on that you proberbly would be in the process of being questioned by the police now while I lay semi-concious on a stretcher waiting for the ambulance to take me away" Poor guy seemed to find something really interesting in his show after that. I have a lot of respect for old people so I didn't persue the matter too much further, but I think me sitting there stroking my cast and wimpering evry 20 seconds mate him think.

Many years ago I had firecrackers thrown at me while riding - took their number etc, informed cops - I stopped riding for a while after that - if it happened nowadays - I'd do justice to them myself - since we don't have a justice system in this country.

Truth...I was too bloody scared (4 big Samoan dudes) It missed me anyways. Gave me immense childish pleasure to give them the old beep beep and the finger yet again. That really must have pissed them off.

That is such a much better way to deal with it!
Hey Sniper I have a question for you...(sorry to make you type more!) If you want to quote a few people here...(as I have seen you do) How do you go about that?
    Cheers
