    Back on the bike

Well, after five weeks of enforced rest after breaking my foot, today I got my boots on and went for a ride! I was really worried that I would have forgotten everything but it was all good. MSTRS has complained that I'm too slow in the corners so I didn't throttle off so much. I stayed upright and had a ball. It was pretty windy at times but no majors.Foot is tender and slightly swollen now, but I'm happy. It was real good to be back out there!

She earned the raised thumb today
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Yeah it is a bit. Unfortunately I'm not so confident on steps anymore.

Those bloody steps... they can jump out at you from anywhere! Glad to hear you're back on two wheels again, and managed to stay rubber side down too

    Cool

    Welcome back to riding....

I know the feeling well when I was off my bike twice.
Once for 5 weeks and then just last year for 8 weeks..

Those weeks seem like an eternity...

Take it easy and ride safe.

good on you for a successful return!

i was off for about a month, and that was murder. by the time i got another bike, i was scared shitless of her, took a while to get back into things.

I broke my left foot (2nd time - first was 30 yrs ago- same place) but also popped the Hamstring at the front of my right knee! Great way to start my holidays. I have to admit to feeling nervous getting back out there, but also frustated at not being able to. Looking forward to more rides- no accidents!

    Cool

Get ramps built over your steps...
    then no more falling...

You can then just roll down the ramp...
    No more broken bones...

Take it easy back on the bike with your foot...

Thanx guys for all your good wishes. I still ride like a Nana but I am in control of my wheels - not hubby!
