    Wash with wool wash from a supermarket. If it's gentle emough for woolen fabrics it'll be fine for the bike. Use Simple green or similar on hard to shift dirt around the engine, wheels etc.

    I, hose bike down, use this Moto stuff from Motomail, use a cloth, water blast (only do metal bits close), then use a wash/waz, hose down, leather and then polish with wax......all in that order and takes me 2 hours tops and I do that 1 a month but just use the Moto stuff etc other times.
