oh, i'd love to go for a nice cruise with you guys on your cruisers, no fast riding though cos i wont be able to keep up....i thought my gn was bad handling untill i had a harley follow me through the manawatu gorge, dragging his pegs and eating me on the little straights, but i easily had him in the corners without scraping my pegs too much

no, i dont plan to as they are to uncomfortable and put to much presure on certain areas of my spine. i'm not a fan of the might 63hp air cooled vtwins either. each to their own though, people dont like hondas but i could say the same thing as cruiser riders and go "a good riden honda bros would wise up any sports bike in the twisties blah-de fucken blah".

of course a good rider on a HD will out ride a useless rider on a sports bike. but if the sprot boike rider is very skilled that rider more than likely will blow the cruiser into the weeds.

i have no doubts that scumdog or waylander would smoke me over the takas or whatever road they choose, i just prefer a sport bike [v twin of course].

so lets all group hug and grow up now eh?

Good repost - but notice how I don't slag off other brands except as a wind-up or leg pull??
    Each to their own.

BTW If you've never ridden one how do you know they ARE uncomfortable and put pressure on your spine?????? and be aware that not ALL H-Ds have the 'cruiser' riding position...

i have sat on quite a few. and have been on the back of one.... i hate the upright riding position because of the way my spine has been twisted and nearly broken too many times. i prefer the complete sporty extremely low clip-ons, my hondas are too high beleive it or not, so i am mounting them below the top triple clamp

aint it funny how most sports riders tend to change to more relaxed riding positions (either more upright or cruiser style) as they get older due to the strain on their backs they often get on a sports bike...
and DL there is a lot of difference between just 'sitting' on a HD (or riding on the back) and riding one, and there are so many different style HDs that positions can vary hugely....sporty/soft-tail/Vrod/Buell all heaps different positions
Guess you are happy enough on your current bike so no point trying to give you other views.... oh yeah woops sorry NOT on a bike i meant

nah, too low to the ground.

i'd love a beull though, xb12 lightning....mmmm just tune it up a bit...

and i know what angles my back is comfortable at and you rashika obviously dont, in a sit up position my back is under alot of pressure and i would say its rather uncomfortable. in an extremely painfull kind of way.
