Sabres, Orcas, what a load of soft cocks.
What's wrong with struggling back to the car to call for back-up.

That crushed pumice stone stuff they used to put down on it before 'twas sealed didn't half crap out chains, but. And I don't reckon there'd be many left here who've had the exciting experience of getting a bike up the ramps of the old vehicular ferries on a wet night with a decent swell running.

    My experience,
ORCAS - you get used to them, just allow for the delay or shout in a really panicked voice.
MOTOROLAS - grab them if you can but make sure they work because they get thrashed.

THOSE GOING TO COLLEGE- work hard until your first summative exam, then guage how much work you put in to the results you gained. The next step is very important, calculate how much less effort you can put in while spending more time in the bar but still pass the course.

Most of all enjoy yourself - you will do the real learning about 4 weeks after graduation.

??? you know something my good lady dont, she has to supply her entire uniform and from what I understand at no reduction in price, they can get the gear from only one place, imho the most expensive place in town. Might be different under different DHB's.

BTW before anyone says look at the money they earn etc remember a registered nurse has a degree now days, that equals huge student fees, they have responsibility for the lifes of their patients and can lose their jobs faster than a doctor in some cases. God who would want that job.

Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

The bar is a real 'dollar-sucker' - stay away from it if you're poor!

And while the first 4 weeks (months?) is a steep learning curve you NEVER stop learning/re-learning stuff.:spudwhat:
