All right you bloody slackers - I'll be there at least! Do you buggers ever get out for a ride?
Anyways, if you do happen to be up that way in the morning, keep an eye out for me, I'll be on the CR (along with a couple of guys on older 4 strokes), and my wagons a blue legacy towing a black trailer. Pretty sure we're gonna be taking my wheels up there, so if you see it there, then pop in and say hi.
hey I'm back now and I've just rebuilt my suspension so I might be up for this weekend maybe......
Keen?
Went to Waitemata's twilight trailride in Riverhead on Friday arvo. Much more fun than Woodhill bikepark at this time of year.
Hey Cheese - I'll try my best.
And Danger - that would have been good, but unfortunately the only time I had to get out was on Sat.
hey WRT, where are you in auckland?
Danger - Riverhead sounds good, can I just go out there?

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
my own fault really.
I'm in One Tree Hill. And you been to Thunder Valley? Thats worth a go, but the distance means that you need to make a full day out of it.
yeah I'm on the shore and just getting back into riding so I need to practice jumps. Keen to go for a ride when your sorted though
Sweet mate, I've got a couple more hours to spend on the bike tonight so will see how far I get. And I'm in need of some practice off jumps too, I'm starting off small and gradually increasing the size of the jumps I'll attack.
Will PM you once I'm back up and running.
mate I thought I'd change my wheel bearing last night. what a mission. YOu need a special removal tool to get them out (which I don't have.....)
So I got Macguyver on it and used a piston circlip and stuck it between the bearings and managed to whack it out!
I tell you my little bike has cost me a shitload of money lately.
Yup, they have a habit of doing that (costing you money). When I did my rear wheel bearings, I had trouble getting the dust seals out so I took it to a mate who's a (car) mechanic. Unfortunately, while he managed to get them out, he stuffed the seals in the process. And guess what . . . no seals in the country so I had to wait for ages (well, it seemed like ages but was probably about 10 days) for some to come out from Japan. Gutted.
yeah I got a bearing kit and that had seals in it for all $40.
what year is your CR?
$40 sounds cheap! Think mine was around $12 per seal (x2) and about $15 per bearing (x3).
The CR's an 01. When I get a free moment today I'm going to give botany honda a call and see what the deal is with big end bearings etc. Someone mentioned getting kits for that, so will see if thats an option.
