    aaaah its coming closer...

i know a mechanic in eketahuna with a rather good reputation and he's a bloody clever bugger. what i'm rambling about is, the bike shop in pahiatua told me that my beloved is beyond repair and they cant straighten the subframe or remove the creases from the exhaust or blah blah. so i had a chat to this dude in eketahuna about my bent darling and he said "well, bring her in and i'll have a look and see what i can do". so i tootle home and me and my brother load the honda onto the old mans ute and take the bike to said mechanic. he looked at it, and said "thats a peice of piss!" and said hed straighten the subframe, fix the exhaust and straighten the bent fork leg all within my $560 budget! i'm fucken stoked and i just fitted some ultra sexy new headlights to her. i'll load up a piccy soon

XB12S Lightning. Looks pretty cool DL.
I think the actually Buell part is way cheaper. Did you enquire DL? I may do this kinda mod to a Hornet if I get one.
