    Inconsistent speedo readings

    Hi everyone,

I just ran an AA lemon check on a FXR brought on Trade me http://www.trademe.co.nz/structure/a...sp?id=43732740, and on the check it came up with some unusual speedo readings.

    3 - 01-12-2003 773K 1,362K 9 months and 5 days
    4 - 09-04-2002 6,055 -5,282 1 year and 7 months

This sounds a bit dodgy to me, what does everyone else think? Could this be a typo, or does it sound like the speedo has been buggered with? Apparently the speedo shows about 5600kms at the moment.

    Thanks a lot!

    Stefan

    Edit:The speedo is digitial.

pretty black and white really. Speedo might have been replaced or modified.

should probably have 10k on the clock. Still a reasonable deal though.

As Patrick says, sounds like damage repairs. Could even be a simple typo
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
