I seem to remember seeing three gears skyward on the ole GSX black piper on Champion strip ...whole run (1/4 mile) on rear wheel BUT it did shit to me times... like about 1 full second SLOWER than usual run...(boys reckon grannny in her Morri 1000 would be quicker)
I managed a 12.5 (I think it was) on the 12 on the rear all the way down.
The bastards won't let ya do it anymore though....

Nice one chris, where were you on tuesday matey, could've come strut ya stuff with us other looneys. Sorted that rear shock out yet? you might wanna do that beofre you take trashys 1.04 down.

Zed big ups on the stand up, when did you do that?

As much as i love the TL, like dumping the clutch in 2nd at 45-55kph, i still miss the effortlessness of the GSXR (and the smoothness), and the ability to embarrse boy racers by pulling the front up at over licence losing speed and still out accleateing them.
GSXR wiping the shit that is that Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki off the road since '85'

    Arrow Funny thing doing wheelies.

I can't or won't do them on the CBR, but on the TT I'll wheel stand through to 4th gear. Might have something to do with the consequences of a crash and financial loss associated with. I'll wait here for the smart remarks.
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.

I found out today just why I have never been able to change gears while wheelying - because I havn't been trying hard enough! So I felt inspired to go out and practise today with some very pleasing results...at the end of the day I had sucessfully hooked 2nd a good dozen times from 1st and started hooking third (did it once thru 1st, 2nd, 3rd) before I ran out of time, felt real good being able to hold the bike in the air thru the gears for a considerable distance! The key is lifting the front up to just the right height to be able to ease off the throttle for a millisecond, as the front starts coming down, and hook the gear! :spudflip:

I'm wrapped with my progress, and I'm still yet to change the gearing, so it should be a heap easier once the new chain & sprockets arrive!
