It is legal I tells ya. The pipe will pass a warrent!
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Ive had a dickhead pass me on the inside, single lane road and I was in a VAN!!! - he took to the gravel verge, passed me, then cut across to pass the car ahead, into oncoming traffic!!!!!
    Musta been in a hurry...........

Happened to me last night and I was in a Holden S/W. He had followed me for about 3ks with his headlights on full, passed me on a 55k sharp left hander then crawled down the road at 25 ish. I passed him, boom- headlights on full again , blinding me in the wing mirror, trying to get into the tailgate, then sped passed me on the inside doing about 70- shesh - what is with that?

Yup had it done to me by an ape in a Holden Wagon on a slowish peak traffic STH motorway. I was in the left lane (right track) at around 60 KPH holding a good distance behind the slow-fast-slow-fast crap that happens at that hour, lane to my right is nearly stopped, Kong sees the remainder of my lane and the shoulder as fair game. Hooted my horn to warn him, accelerated ahead and shifted further left which forced him to abandon his undertake (no rude gestures either). Mate did he do his nut waving his fist and honking his horn and gesturing that I pull over for a punch up. I aint Mr universe, couldn't be bothered with "Slack-jaw" loosing his rag on the roadside and, well (the truth) he was a heavily tattood gorilla of a man that looked like he may have a hammer or two tucked under his seat so I upped the pace, moved on and put some tin between him and I in case he knocked me off me bike. Its just the "Anything smaller than me is unimportant" mentality as truckies do it to cars and trucks and Cars do it to motorbikes and motorbikes do it to...(thats right we are the little fellas)..
Maybe it is some sort of pent up anger/revenge they have from previously sitting in traffic jams watching bikes happily lanesplitting.
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!
