Had a nice ride out through Pureora on Saturday, then helped my girlfriend buy Potzman's (thanks Potzman) immaculate KRR150 & rode it back to Rotovegas for her.

NIce work clint
To every man upon this earth
Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
Nice one Clint, hmm my lady is keen on getting a bike too but I'm in two minds over the whole thing. I know I should l let her do want she wants to do (which I probably will anyway) but am just worried about her getting hurt. How do you feel about yours being on 2 wheels??
I would not argue if it was me but I do not have that worry but guess you should let her do what she wants and make sure she gets all the training etc.....applies to all other aspects of relatonships too I guess......I mean she let you buy a motorbike so what is the difference....ha ha
Yeah I'm gonna teach her how to ride on a mates RM125 on her parents farm and see how she likes it.
Not trying to put her off are you....subtle!!!Originally Posted by Fishslayer

Well she could fall off a couple of times and that may put her off?? or she could end up pulling stand up wheelies all afternoon and put me to shame... will just have to wait and see I guess
Maybe take Speedmedic along.......to heal your bruises eh?Originally Posted by Fishslayer
Well, it was her money & her idea. She does a lot of cycling around town so is well used to riding defensively & not expecting anybody to give way or even see her. She'll also have a full set of gear before she gets on the open road so that's a large part of the safety equation taken care of. When I think of the crashes I've had I worry a bit, but they were mostly when I was young(er) & stoopid(er) & not wearing as good protective gear as we have now.Originally Posted by Fishslayer
