    My Goal for this year

Is to have a 600-750cc bike at the end of it, but i'm not to sure what to get
i want a fully faired sportsbike for under $7000, but i also want it to be reasonably lightweight, the models i've narrowed it down to are:
    gsxr600/750
    zx6r
    zxr750
    R6
    cbr600rr

next part i'm not sure how to explain, but i took a cbr600f (about a 1990 model) for a ride, and the seat felt really high and more upright, which made the bike feel horrible handling wise, really top heavy, so are there any of those bikes i should take off the list for that reason, i like my bikes to be nimble and easy to throw around, i'm leaning towards a gsxr600 in the 1996-1999 variety, so whats everyones opinions, are there any bikes i'm missing, how am i going to find the others to ride?

Just got the zx7r (also called zxr750 for older models), if you want light weight, don't get one. They weigh in at just over 200kg.

I'm a big heavy guy, so I have no problems throwing it around, in fact, I'm finding I have supreme confidence on it, but apparently a lot of people are put off by the weight.

Personally, I thought the late 90 gixxer 600/750 was extremely ugly (the 3rd and fourth choices, after the zx6r)

yeah there are aspects of the design i don't particularly like either, it was more the price, if money wasn't an issue, i'd go kawasaki all the way and get a new zx6r, but of course i'm still a student with 2 years till i finish uni, so money is an issue

i think both the 750's are more tourer style bikes, so i should probably scratch them off...

Why? It pays to keep your choices open. You wont really know if you like a m/c untill you actually take one for a squirt or two or three.............................

yeah i guess thats true, it's just that cbr600f has really put me off tourer's, if they're all like that their is no way i'd buy a tourer, haha i like being cramped a sportsbike riding style, stretched out over the tank

zx6r aparently has a dry weight of around 170kg, which sounds pretty damn appealing to me!

a nice 95 zx6r will be fine, dont solely determine bike choice on physical dimensions without trial, its like saying you dont want sex because shes to loose.

yeah zx6r is sounding more and more appealing the more i read about it, and i'd rather stick to kwaka's anyway, i'll keep an eye out and see if i can swing a test ride

While if you've got a year then why don't you try and test ride as many bikes that interest you as possible? Then you can decide for yourself.
When it comes down to it, it'll probably be the best deal available that decides which one you get in the end.
It's just one of those days, where you don't wanna wake up,
    everything is fucked, everybody sucks,
You don't really know why but you wanna justify ripping someone's head off
