I decided to pull my XR apart to see what mods had been done to it by previous owners.

It turns out that my "Big Red Pig" has been fully "uncorked" so its little wonder that it is so much gruntier than the bog standard TTR600 that I had a test ride of.

The only mod that hasn't been done is this one:

If I can pick up a second hand side cover from somewhere I might go ahead and do this as well. My only concern would be taking it off road and riding it through water with this mod but it would be a good mod for a motarded XR.

Pretty standard mod for various bikes. If you think there is going to be lots of water you can always block up the holes with duct tape.
