    Angry MadMal gets taken out!

Well I didnt get very far this morning. Had a woman do a u turn right in front of me and I embedded the RF just in front of her front wheel. Went for a small fly across her bonnet and on to the road.
Im ok, but I will be a bit sore for a few days as some bruising comes out,but no broken bones or road rash thanks to wearing all the gear we should be.
Im fairly sure the bike will be a right off, bent forks, fairing is toast, headlight munted, instrument panel broken... all the expensive shit.
Lucky she admitted it was her fault and she is fully insured, but pisses me off that Im going to be without a ride for a while.
Anyway I suppose I will be looking for a new bike soon.... hmmmm VTR? SV? GSXR, Maybe an ST4! oh the choices!
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

I believe there was a nice Duke ST3 in WMCC that I had a sit on just before new years, it could do with a home!

That's terrible news but at least you're ok!

Maybe it is time to streetfighter the riffer!

Give me a yell if you need anything and throw up some pics of the bike.

Thanks! Any off I can get up & walk away from is a good one (as far as crashes go).
Its the second time someone has done this to me. Last time I was in a cage though.

Sorry to hear about the bin, good on you for having the gear on though - its good to hear you have come out of it all relatively unscathed. Good luck with the bike shopping once the insurance coin comes through, if you have access to parts off the RF sing out because I might know someone that needs some bits.

Contact your insurance company (or her company directly) and say you need a ride urgantly can they pre approve the hire of one until the claim is settled.

Also remember to claim for your inconvinience she has caused you, any other expenses and your riding gear, which is all used now

For sure, any walkaway off is a good one. Last time I got nailed but walked away ok...was my first post on the site...still got the plate and screws in my shoulder. Unfortunately the driver did a runner so my insurance had to cough up.
    Happy shopping, or streetfighter-ing!
