Winja: Let me guess, you live in a rural or semi-rural area in the assend of nowhere, and your using a crappy standard internal modem?

Most modern mdoens are only designed to work in towns, with basically 0 line noise. Rural areas need specialist mostms (that cost a crapload more) to handle the shit quality of the lines, and even then a decent electric fence will still fuck your connection up.

If your not using something like THIS: http://www.dynalink.com.au/products/u90e-rural.htm then pretty much you will always get shit connections while you live outside a main centre.

PS: Some geeks are bigger, meaner, uglier, and punch harder than you.

ID HAVE TO DISAGREE , IF XTRA CAN GET THE INTERNET RIGHT THEN SO CAN KIWIONLINE AND ORCON , ALSO THE GUY FROM TELECOM SAID IM CLOSE TO THE EXCHANGE.
THE PROBLEM I HAD WAS THE DOWN LOAD FROM ORCON FOR THE ACCELERATOR WOULDNT LOAD AND THE ORCON EMAIL DOESNT DISPLAY A FULL PAGE , YET I CAN DOWN LOAD PORN OK
