I always found the Karangahake Gorge abit of a tease.

I know it's alot further away, but you just can't beat the Waioeka George.

    58 k's of corners.

    Good girl!
Went through there a few times over Christmas, thank crap I wasn't in a cage...80km's??? Try 45 behind an Audi (for about three seconds) Hahaha.
Oh yeah forgot to mention, quite funny seeing the sign still there for the 85km corner in the 80km zone..

    OMG will you marry me?

That has to be my favourite piece of road that I have ridden a bike on... adrenaline factor is higher and the seven fiddy sounds evil through the gorge itself.... although I have had 2/3 of my accidents there I just keep going back

    Delicious is an understatement.

Thinking of 58 K's of reliable even surface, corners that are marked at 75K (so you don't have to slow down) and no traffic.:

The Mungamuka gorge eats all these other places for dead,,,pity it's so bloody far away is all.
We're talking over 100 smooth flowing corners in around thirty Kms,I've tried counting them all a few times but keep losing my count due to over excitment,,,or sumint.
As for 80 kms,Oh well used to be that everywhere so we're still in front,,aaaand there's nothing wrong with the roads,,they are in fact constantly getting better.
It's just the people using them can't keep up with the capabilitys of modern vehicules,an sorry that means bikes as well.
    IM not so HO.
