    another "Fight Club Ride"

we started at AB papakura, while I was waiting for the FC brothers to arrive, there was a feast of cool bikes to look at, A Ducati club were on a ride to taupo and it seemed like every duke in Aks was there $$$$$$$$$, tried to talk to one of the riders, but they did not seem to be that interested, but thats ok, cause later on I overheard one of them mocking one of our kb brothers 250, so I don't think they would be the sort of riders I would like to talk to. Sure this is not a representative of all Duke riders

any way the Fc bros turned up , we spent some time chatting with the guys on the 250/150s, and meet up with Jen(draco) and Will handing out her posters, soon it was time to leave.

FC went the normal way via ridge road to 22, great ride down till about Naike(thats were they make the running shoes) and then it started to piss down, but what the hell still better than sitting at home/work/dole/whatever. by the time we got to the hot pools it had stopped and the road was dry.

Grabbed some gas and a pie at the usual place, while there we meet heaps of riders from the HRC of NZ on the way to Rags for lunch, not long after that our mates from the 250/150/400/600 ride turned up, so bit of a chat .

then it was time to head back down the way we came till the Glen Afton turn off, along to Rotowaro, Hetherginton Rd and back onto 22

from there we rode back to Pukekawa school ,stopped for a chat and wait for our mates on the 250/150... to catch up,

At this stage the my two FC mates departed for a trot along the Hunua's

I joined up with the 250s guys and followed them to pukekohe.

So another great day, thanks to the FC brothers for a cool ride,I tried to post the pics before I left home, fucked it up again, , no suprise there. I can't do it at work so will try sunday..

Great to meet some new kbers and catch up with some of the others I had not seen for a bit.

to the 250 club, well done guys , great effort today, very impressed with your ride style as I followed you back to Pukekohe.

I had no trouble talking to them, the ducati riders, and they even took some of my posters.
Must've been something to do with lumps that did it. No, not the lump on top of my shoulders, the 2 in between
By the way they were going to Tokaanu for an AGM at 2 pm so I'd say that they had a great ride too, exploring the roads.

Well written Firefight. Pity about that Duc rider though.

Yea what a good read, Duc riders never seem to have time to wave/nod , was told once by a good mate its because the bikes vibrate so much they cant let go.......... '' go King Carl ''...

How dare they (duke riders) mock my humble steed!

lol it was a bit of a laugh when I parked my fibreglassed-bald tyred-scratched-screenless-dirty-ripped seat- $2500 250 next to their $15k + immaculate machines. I got a few WTF looks from them
Hell, their Ducati embroidered jackes are probably worth more than my bike!

Not to worry, was good meeting you guys today, `twas a good day to be riding.

True. Its funny though, you can see how one just one instance of a guy being a dick can affect a whole group image.
