Northland Trail Ride...5Th of Feb 2006...Waitangi weekend

On sunday 5th of February the annual Tutumoe Trail Ride will be run. In previous years it was a 2-day ride but this year Round 2 of the National Enduro Series will be held on saturday 4th of Feb on the same trails.
The riding in this area is superb...rivers...plantation and native forest...open rollercoaster farmland covering 10000 acres running thru the highest ranges north of the Central Plateau. There are trails to suit beginners thru to experts. The main loop is approx 60 ks long of easy riding with shortcuts to return to base plus numerous secondary loops graded from easy to hard to test the most experienced rider.
Tutumoe is 40 mins drive north of Dargaville on SH 12. (the ride will be signposted from Dargaville) There is camping available with limited facilities.

A MNZ licence is required for the Enduro on Saturday....but the trail ride on sunday 5th of Feb is for anyone to ride....bikes or quads.

Just thought I'd add that since the enduro is a national round you won't be able to get a day license. Went to this last year and it hosed it down but was still an awesome ride.
