eek Another Rider Down - Wgtn??

At Horokiwi this morning there was a van with a smashed in window and a Suzuki 150 - RGv II model I think. It had the big II on the side.

The bike was in front of the vehicles, behind the ambulance and looked like it was leaning up against the railing. There was a person being attended to lying on the ground and the ambulance staff were carrying the stretcher back to the person.

There were road works in the north bound lanes and based on the skid marks on the road that were not there yesterday morning, I would suggest that people were rubber necking and the driver in the right side southbound lane stopped suddenly swerving to the left crossing into the south bound lane. A little bit further on the bike is 'parked' on the barrier with other vehicles and ambulances.

Mangell, hope I left you enough room this morning! Sorry man, I was in a hell of rush.

That RG150 rider didn't look too healthy. I really hope the stretcher/backboard was a precautionary measure.

I always feel sick when I pass another rider down and not moving. Start imagining the worst

Heaps of room, I felt sorry for your pillion as they had no gloves and their fingers were bright red.

I also noticed that the person on the ground had there head being held, don't know if that meant anything, scary stuff.

That bit of road is bad for accidents. A mate binned his 1 week old, 1300km SV1000 on Tuesday night - changed land and front wheel got flicked by the step between the two lanes where they are being resurfaced. Minor damage, clutch lever, gear lever and indicator on the bike, bruising and grazing to him. FH means either Fulton Hogan or F*cking Hopeless
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.
