[QUOTE=XXplosive]Does anyone travel to Whitby, North yorkshire, for the biker meetings?

    Rode up there last year

a few bikes there, nice place but too many people, it is a typical tourist trap

pubs were chaotic, next time I'll go mid week in the middle of winter maybe the place will be empty

magpie cafe famous for its fish & chips had a horrendous queqe and they were shite anyway

Used to live in North Shields which is on the north side of the Tyne river mouth (Why Aye man she's a Canny wee Toon) and Whitley bay is just up the road its a wild place on a friday night.. Whitby is further south (not as far south as Palmerston North though) and is where James Cook learned his trade..
Too many people and to damn cold in the winter.
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

    Every day!

Ah... Your talking whitby UK, not NZ

I used to do the wetherby / whitby / scarborough (ollies mount) run a lot on my 350ypvs... that seems like a LONG time ago now.

I remember the days of passing the lines of stationary cars on their way to the sea side whilst doing 100+ (mph) sometimes I wonder how the hell I am still on the planet.
    Motorbike only search
