    Aprilia strength testing by Sensei

Well 20ys with out an off so I have had a excellent run but all things must come to an end tho & today was my day ! 100k & lowsided the RSVR in the wet was a great lowside didn't even get a front slip warning just straight down bike held up blood well for the big slide . Stripped everything off that needed replacing so Happy to be here & that the bike didn't tumble roll . Was abit of Fun really apart from looking at my Baby all covered in mud & scratches .

    Doh!

Phew, what a relief to hear both you and your bike are both OK!
Did you manage to grab any pics of your mud covered baby? I'm keen to see how an Ape holds up...

Sorry to see you had an off Sensei. Not good at the best of times. After seeing flame's 'Pril after her wee lay down on the track, I hope yours fared as well. Glad you are ok too.

I had a pretty good run with no bins in 12 years but had 2 in 2 months to make it up.

Glad to hear you both survived.
Not nice when there is no warning and the next thing you know is that your sliding down the road.
You know what the cause was? Tyres?
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

Good to hear you're okay and sounding quite chipper about it Hope the bike isn't too badly off and everything fixable!

Good to see you posting about it and still here in one piece. Good gears worth it's weight in gold

Shame about your bike mate, hope it's not too expensive to fix.
Gotta laugh at the people who tell you when your bike starts to slide you do this and you do that and you can save it. yeah right? It's all over in a split second, one second you are looking at the your exit or apex point and the next you are looking at the sky and the road sliding by underneath you.

There's no time to do a darned thing when she decides to let go at speed.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.

Shame Sensei but the good news is you are OK.
You might want to think about editing your post "xxxkph in the wet". That sort of loose lips talk could bite you in the bum at insurance time. I'm sure you would have been doing more like 99kph in those conditions.
