    Got pulled over last night

I needed something that I left at the office urgently so rode to work just before midnight.

My radar went nuts so I adjusted my speed. (mental note: the HARD system is BLINDING at night. He went past then did a u-turn and pulled me up. I was thinking that he pinged me before I had a chance to slow down but he said it was a routine stop. I asked if he was dissapointed that I didn't do a runner... he had a sense of humour failure.

When he saw the detector he asked how it worked. I said very well thank you. No demerit points and I picked you up well before you saw me coming. He lightened up, pushed my license through and off I went.

Nice one!. Gotta get me a radar setup!. Hey you weren't cruising down the southern motorway this morning were you? Saw a repsol 1000RR with a guy in full repsol leathers.

    Lucky bugger, well done.

Like most people if nice to cop theyt are usually nice back. Sometimes they ride bikes in their spare time.
Very nice break, especially with the laws changing.

What else is there to do!!

I highly recommend them! Nah it wasn't me. I like the Repsol bike but through fear of being beaten, I wouldn't wear repsol leathers.

Yeah I thought it was a bit over the top. What type of radar does the HARD system use? or do they make their own?

As far as I know it's a LED light that is in your helmet thats plugged into the side of the radar. It lights up when it detects a cop car. There is a few that will take the HARD system, Valentine 1 is one of them. Its a bit hard to see the radar (and hear it @ +100kph) so hence the little LED. (Just under your eye so you can see it, as I have been told)

Do a search, it's been well covered. Pixie can make an anti-vibration mount for your Bandit too.

I spent a couple of hours easily browsing this website just reading all the stats. Quite helpful really. Decide what you want then by it here from radar-direct.
