That looks spankingly good in black. Love it to bits.

Nice one.... I see you didn't get those Dunlop D220

Now go shop for a zorst!

Oh and you'll learn to support more of your weight with the wind / back. And less sore wrist soon enough.

ah... and suggest you get some headlight protectors to protect those nice big headlights

Already done some overtaking!!....up the second passing lane on the way to Maraetai.... used to hate that one as I'd have to change down just to get up the hill (reasonably quickly) on the VTR, also big difference on the uphill bit just past the Hotel Du Vin turn on the way back to Hunua, and this is being careful not to "lug" the engine! Know what you really mean about the overtaking... looking forward to getting more miles on it!!

Thanks skelstar... must be tough waiting for the license and new bike... definitely worth the wait though.

YES, I didn't mean that I enjoyed the quiet - it was more the lower revs compared to the VTR. Like the sound of Keystones bike but will spend some time shopping. ALso need to research re noise regs re aftermarket pipes, I know with cars the driver now gets demerit points if the cars too loud! COurse the V twins have more torque than the inline fours too don't they?

Cool with digital speedo eh.....even registers when you roll backwards.... pinged

I was almost tempted by the black before I bought my red 1000.......black or red only colours eh?
Cos I'm a nana, and I tend to do things by the book, 1000 probably too big a step up. Maybe next time. Yes, love the digital speedo, clock, and two trip meters.

Hard to keep me off the bike!! We're doing the coro loop this weekend, and I've already booked in for the first service next Tuesday, before heading down to Taupo on Wednesday! Will be doing Weasels beginners ride on that weekend.

Those lights are not too bad... much better than the VTR anyway. Any recommendations re the zorst?

Oh, ok -- I'll pass on the purchase then. That's a bit more than his budget. Good luck with Botany.

Aye, I know - hence the hearty congratulations and jealousy! No quick licence for me - too financially challenged for any fancy CBTA courses...that, and 40 demerits incurred going down a steep hill outside of Dunedin in my 1982 Laser...grrr...DOWNHILL is the only way that car speeds FFS!
