Nice one mate, just need to update your profile now!
Nice bike that, do good wheelies on a bike like that I've been told.

That looks spankingly good in black. Love it to bits.

Congrats on the new purchase. Enjoy.

Nice one.... I see you didn't get those Dunlop D220
Now go shop for a zorst!
Oh and you'll learn to support more of your weight with the wind / back. And less sore wrist soon enough.

Is the VTR traded in?? - Cos I know someone who's looking for one.
Thanks for the congrats all....
Already done some overtaking!!....up the second passing lane on the way to Maraetai.... used to hate that one as I'd have to change down just to get up the hill (reasonably quickly) on the VTR, also big difference on the uphill bit just past the Hotel Du Vin turn on the way back to Hunua, and this is being careful not to "lug" the engine! Know what you really mean about the overtaking... looking forward to getting more miles on it!!Originally Posted by Gremlin
Thanks skelstar... must be tough waiting for the license and new bike... definitely worth the wait though.Originally Posted by skelstar
YES, I didn't mean that I enjoyed the quiet - it was more the lower revs compared to the VTR. Like the sound of Keystones bike but will spend some time shopping. ALso need to research re noise regs re aftermarket pipes, I know with cars the driver now gets demerit points if the cars too loud! COurse the V twins have more torque than the inline fours too don't they?Originally Posted by Riff Raff

Hard to keep me off the bike!! We're doing the coro loop this weekend, and I've already booked in for the first service next Tuesday, before heading down to Taupo on Wednesday! Will be doing Weasels beginners ride on that weekend.Originally Posted by TL Rider
Might do...I've been there twice on the VTR... grew up in Tuakau, I did!!Originally Posted by Fishslayer
Those lights are not too bad... much better than the VTR anyway. Any recommendations re the zorst?Originally Posted by Zapf
Thanks Phurrball, think we both started rriding at the same time...Originally Posted by Phurrball

Oh, ok -- I'll pass on the purchase then. That's a bit more than his budget. Good luck with Botany.
Aye, I know - hence the hearty congratulations and jealousy! No quick licence for me - too financially challenged for any fancy CBTA courses...that, and 40 demerits incurred going down a steep hill outside of Dunedin in my 1982 Laser...grrr...DOWNHILL is the only way that car speeds FFS!Originally Posted by Leong
