    Ducati ST2

anyone got one? like? not like?

    issues? lemon? not?

Im riding a '99 ST2 at the weekend... it might make my shortlist.

Pluses are: decent two up. Scratch or not as you will. this one has panniers. its a Ducati 916 based motor (its 944cc one) its RED.

minuses: its a ducati: expensive maintenance 99 a bit old?

Haven't ridden one, sorry, not my thing...but Fast Bikes rated it their best Sports Tourer over the New Triumph Sprint ST and the VFR800.

    From memort:

Plusses: great wind protection, great sound, great handling, can really hustle for a sports-tourer.

Minuses: it's a Duc, so maybe reliability issues (none on their test though)

edit: Actually, maybe that was the ST3???! Probably the same diff but with less guts though...

i dont think anyone could call an st2 a lemon, reliability wise i think you would be fine although serviceing costs could be up there,i dont take to much notice of bike mags as a lot of journos dont seem to live in the real world like the rest of us,if you ride it and like it then its all good
