thing is i checked the bike over to make sure it was all safe and sweet for a wof, there was nothing stopping it from getting a wof a year ago when i put it in the garage.

Its just crap that i had to find out that my old bike had been put down the road, even it was a rangi old bike.

Cowpoos - you happy now, shit stirrer. Dont you have cows to play with or somethin

Shit he was keen, wanting to ride bake to Tauranga (I assume) with minimal gear.

Mate of mine was telling me the other day that he sold a CBR250 to a guy who then went and killed himself on it the next weekend. It could've been a lot worse Gareth

It's nice that you care but...I know the risks and if I choose to ride in jeans and a t-shirt, then it shouldn't worry you.

Different story with someone brand new to riding that doesn't know the risks, but there's no telling some people.

i care 'cos i indirectly pay for 'public healthcare' to fix up those who choose to ride 'under-dressed' for the occasion...

In that case, I care every time you ever do anything slightly dangerous...like walking down a staircase without holding the handrail.

If not who is liable the new owner or the old owner of the bike as it wasnt WOF or Rego'd... if the police where called in.

Or was it sold "as is where is condition"

Did you get a receipt for the money that passed hands...?

Gareth I'm looking out for you in this situation... and also for others who ever do this... As I would hate Gareth to be done for this and end up going to court or getting a fine.

Gee I hope this makes sense..

Fair enough, your call. But, i dont think it matters wether your new to riding or not, its not always the bikers fault that they come off. lots of things, oil on the road, grease, people going through give way signs, etc.
i just hate to hear of people coming off and the injuries they get
