    Fight Club ride today 21/01/06

another great day for a ride

the fight club riders meet at Bombay, a bit of a yarn and off down 22 via ridge rd, the road was up to it's normal standard and all enjoyed the ride down, after stopping for gas and pies 3 of our riders left to return early.

the rest of us returned back the way we came ,,turning off at Glen Afton and along to Rotowaro ,after a great little race along to the hall we stopped for some digy pics, after taking the pics the dumb prick who had the camera thought it would be a good idea to leave it on a road side post(i guess he thought it would be safe there till next week) ,however I belive that when he went back two hours later it was gone.. what's the chance's of that happening ??

well any way now I don't have to Fuck around trying put the pics up on this post .

once we were back on 22 we rode to our normal rest point at Pukekawa.

After this one of our group took his normal route home via Mercer ferry rd, the rest of us returned via Pukekohe.

a great day guys and girls, thanks for your company.. Rendy, Sue, Jimmy, James, Kit and Tristan.

rider of the day, this was a tough one everyone did very well, however two riders stood out today.

Buggy, despite appalling taste in bike colour you rode very well today, it was great to ride with you again mate, I think you membership to FC is assured.

But without doubt the title ""fight Club Rider of the day" has to go to Tristan
bloody great effort man. you did dam well to keep up with the other bikes.

Firefight .... now off to look for the dam camera
"Kiwi Biker, still a great place despite the mods "

"Would crawl over broken glass before owning Suzuki"

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

tristan surprised even me! top dude on a 250 to keep that pace. And I know he's not the only one. I think that's what scares me!!

Like I said, abuse is the finest form of flattery. If you really like my bike and it's colour, it's ok to respray yours. We won't think any less of you.

Anyway, thanks for inviting me along, good to ride again. Nice to catch up with the rest too. WT, I have your ear plugs if you want them back! Has just a little Bugwax on it, but that's ok.. Awesome machine you've got there too. No one would believe it's a new K4 engine underneath all that fairing works you've done with it.. Good disguise

    thanx heaps, until next time

Thanks F/F - was a good ride today. I was even slower than normal due to suffering from a hangover and just not being able to get my groove. Strangely tho I got better after WT, Mr Me and myself did a bit of bike swapping when we parted from the rest of the group. Hope you all liked my exit..... Note to self: when swapping to a shitty old bike you haven't ridden before, make sure right foot is on the footpeg and not sitting on the brake!! And I did enjoy riding the CBR - some interesting vibrations at various speeds

Oh yeah, and our ride back from Ngaruawahia had entertainment galore from some tosser on a gsxr1000 who had an aversion to the front wheel touching the tarseal (including on the one way bridge crossing the Waikato River).

And my neck got up close and personal with the pointy end of a yellow and black buzzing thing. Luckily I'd taken an antihystamine before the ride for my hayfever.

Nice to finally meet you Dave and ride with ya. Good to catch up with you Buggy, still nice 'n orange (and attracting bugs) .

The tar on that road is pretty shocking at some stages and the various 'bumps' read: 'jumps' make things a little interesting. Bugger about the roadworks too.
But that sh22 is a newfound delight for me and I shall be on it in the future

My bike felt like it was 'swimming' sometimes like a a reasonably slow lateral/vertical s movement in corners not unlike arsing out - suspension? I thaught I might have screwed a shock after one massive bump so i'm getting worried. Time for new tyres too.

The cop on the motorway got me scared. And another after I got off it, I think it was for that abduction in Mission bay though.

When are you guys next doing the loop? I know that route a bit

edit: Good to meet you too riff raff, didn't know you were on the ride, same with that poor guy riding a more 'aged' bike.... heheh.

    Wicked good ride today folks.

In the half of it we did, we proved two things. Honda CBR600s are shit. 636s are even shitter. Eh Sluggy?

Had a ball though, good company (even if I was ridin by myself for most of it) and more than a little hilarity.

    What is the fight club?
    Second is the fastest loser

"It is better to have ridden & crashed than never to have ridden at all" by Bruce Bennett

DB is the new Porridge. Cause most of the mods must be sucking his cock ..... Or his giving them some oral help? How else can you explain it?

Yep that was us. We thought you might have stopped to say hello, but were obviously on a mission. We figured out it was you - that's the only other black SV we know of, apart from mine, and I was there.
