I got my steeringhead stem mount from radardirect.co.nz. A bit pricey, but the quality is great.

For power, I just spliced cable from one of my headlight (always-on mode) using aligator crimp (can buy from Dicksmith in a plastic of 10), then mate the crimped cables onto a cable cut from an old phone. The 4-wire jack mates well with my escort but those skinny wires are not fat enough for the aligator crimp, so I need the extra wire to be mated in between.
I guess Bel uses co-axial plug, so you'll have to do a bit of adjustment there. Co-axial plugs can be bought from Dicksmith as well.

    I didn't bother with fuse.

    P.S.
Don't mix up the positive and negative power cable.

Know what you mean. Yesterday on my wee toodle there was a 100km sign stuck in the back of beyond. Now having come off a side road I must have missed the lower limit, which too must have been "in the wops" so to speak.

Been thinking of a detector for some time. Just can not make up my mind whether to go with detector or a jammer.

Who makes a combined unit and are they legal and any good??

It does have POP2 detection, but our cops don't use it.

BTW, yet again, jammers only jam laser - detectors warn of radar and laser (just don't rely on one protecting you against laser. If you're paranoid like me, get both.

It's an old Masterblaster of all stupid names, but we've tested it on Stalker laser and it still works fine.
I hear the Blinder M10's work well.

is it easy to mount them both on your bike? Thought they'd collectively take up quite a bit of room...

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
