Ok may be my first question wasnt clear enough, When you order it in from where ever in the states what is included with the detector?? The mounts for the car, cigarette lighter etc???

Best ask the questions now before you go a drop a shit load of coin on something and get something completely different to what you thought you were getting

    Radar detector - Whistler Cruisader.

Why bother with the cage models, I bought a motorcycle specific Whistler Cruisader which is waterproof, includes a HARD unit, and numerous mounting hardware options included in the price, it is permamently fixed to the bike, most thieves wouldn't even know what it is as it looks just like any other motorcycle instrument, it has antennas mounted front and rear of the bike, a blue flashing led which can be mounted anywhere on the bike. So there are 3 alerts i.e. the console text, flashing blue led and HARD unit, if that is not enough you can get an optional wireless in-helmet sound warning device. The Cruisader is a real cracker and works perfectly and saved my bacon plenty of times. It cost me NZ$800 from Radar Direct in Auckland. No doubt you could import more cheaply with the high NZ$. I'm happy with the RD and their service. I did the numbers on Valentine and Escort via Trademe and by the time you added a mounting device, HARD unit and plastic cover it went way past the cost of the locally supplied Cruisader. Also if you place a plastic cover over a cage detector it will protect it against weather but renders it useless against laser, which cannot penetrate plastic. The cage radar detectors are very suseptible to theft and are NOT waterproof. Radar detectors are marketed much like computers i.e. spouting a lot a 'techno jargon crap', mostly which should be ignored. An effective radar detector beats a jammer hand down. see whistler cruisader details on:

Click on the 'client install pictures link' you will see the set up on my Kawasaki ZRX1200.

When Stalker laser can target individual vehicles at up to 800 metres from concealement, has minimal scatter and a lock time of .3 secs. There is no detector in the world that will save you consistantly.
    You need a jammer too.

Can you recommend a jammer suitable for installation on a motorcycle.

The deal I've been offered are manufacturing defects. All dectectors come without accessories and most of them aren't even assembled. If we're lucky and can manage to put these things together I cannot gurantee that they'll actually work. The freight company I'm using have a 50% delivery success rate but cannot guarantee that the correct parcel will be delivered.

Hey I've also got a container of tractor reversing lights. Anyone interested?

No, your question was very clear. The dectector's we're considering (V1) are new in a box just the same as if you were to buy one in NZ, just cheaper that's all.

Sorry mate, I don't supply AK parts down to that level. However, I do have complete Chinese 75 round drum magazines in stock. These are very scarce for the AKS rifle and where originally designed for machine guns. These 7.62x39 drums fit standard semi-auto rifles and give you tons of shooting fun, particulary around the office. Very limited supplies and brand new condition.

    Will swap for playstation.
