They are quite nice to ride, easy to ride and very predictable (if you like that) they have a very aggressive riding position compared to all the other 1000cc sports bikes which gives you sore wrists after a while especially 2 up. They aren't the best 2 ride around 2 up as the passenger seat is really high and really hard and the extra weight on your wrists takes its toll pretty quickly. Very smooth bike to ride and very stable at any speed on bumpy surfaces - I have tested all the other 1000cc sports bikes and mine feels a lot more stable than the others on the road.

I do like the blade as an all round bike but I think they lack power and excitement. I will be selling it early next year for something with a bit of a temper and a bit more exciting to ride... maybe K7 GSX-R1000 or 07' ZX10R???

My 6 hundy is at the other end of the spectrum and I have had lots of flash late model big sprotbike riders kind of scoff at my rat. I'll cruise the straights then catch up in the corners and carve them up just to have them wave at me down the straights again.

there is alot of small bikes out there and they do handle in corners at least ya get a wave on straights so that is one bonus but just go out and have fun and give a smile on the corners

people seemed happy enough to wave at me on my bros650, even a speed triple rider waved at me

i wonder if theyll wave at me if i buy an rgv250/nsr250/tzr250? or will they just wait till im out of sight and clean their visors?

I met a guy on the shore last week that owns three 305 Honda dreams, one of which it the trail bike version with wide bars, high pipes, an lumpy tyres.
We spent quite some time yarning about old bikes.
He mentioned he really liked the Triumph Thruxton, muttered something about $18,000 an then went back to talking about the Hondas.
Old bikes can be a heap more interesting than newer ones at times, they have history and looking down on them is really missing out on something.
Those old 305 dreams were one of,if not THE first bike to have an electric start.People that knock old bikes are just strange,an NOT in an interesting way.

I realy enjoy seeing old bikes on the road and meeting the riders who have done them up as you can see how much pride they have put in to them

I still remember my first real ride out into the country on my friends FZR250. I went past heaps of bikes, and EVERYONE waved.. It was awesome! Like its own friendly community.

I will always pop a wave or a nod to fellow bikers. But i find only the sport bike guys seem to wave back??? The guys on the Harlys and Crusers seem to stick to there own club...
