Super cheap have degreaser on sale at the moment for $1.99 a can. Dunno about the quality, or if it is "plastics-friendly" so I'd try in on the underside to begin with

STAY AWAY!!! Got some of that Australian Export stuff since it was on special, it's crap! Stinks like hell. Not that I'm into sniffing fumes but this stuff is awful. Also it isn't safe on pretty much anything that isn't metal and it doesn't work all that good either.

I swear by CRC Aerogrease. That stuff works wonders

hmm I used some of that shit when I was cleaning out my bike. I wonder if it was what made my seals go???

just scrub you bike down with concentrated washing powder (1cup to a 1ltr)
then rinse it all off makes your plastic like new!

i just use handy andy , but mostly just h20 cause im too lazy after getting back from a ride

I used some stuff from work that looked like blue jiff
It was great for cleaning up the old faded plastics on the XR.

It was a bit gritty and you just rub it on with a cloth ,just like a cutting compound.
(clean it off and its like new!)

worth every cent!

I ended up using some plastics stuff I had at home from REPCO and my bike looks great. Pity it's not working though....

Ive found the best thing to clean a bike is to blast it then after that get a green bottle of turtle wax stuff $10 from the warehouse then after its dried give the plastic a spray of silicone and wipe clean. You can do this to any part of your bike apart from your brakes as if you put silicone on the brakes you won't have brakes. Oh and its advisable not to do your seat as silicone spray won't help you grip your seat.
