A few places will, but they don't advertise it. It depends on the nit/hair grease quotient.

Definatly see Quasi for the jacket its good stuff at an awsome price. I've just bought a HJC CS-12 from Boyd Honda in hamilton, was $130 cause there were a whole lot come in from the states at a good price so i dunno if they have any left, its a quality helmet to.

I know how ya feel, i was on borrowed gear, at least its a start

Yep, his stuff is good, a lot of us have bought from him. He works near auckland airport, so give him a pm, and you could probably drop by during the day sometime and he could show you some of his stuff (hehehe, from his boot, looks nice and shadey )

The HJC CL-14 is a popular helmet (I have one as well) and some have also skid tested it, and apparently it stands up very well, more than expected for a $200 helmet (if its still on special).

My HJC CS-10 (also rebranded as 'Cirus') only cost me $160 and I got away with only a minor concussion after a KR150 hit me, and that was after I gave it a few knocks. Really should replace it...

Cheap helmet doesn't mean bad helmet - all helmets are up to certain (high) safety standards and some of the cheaper ones are surprisingly effective. Increased cost normally means better finish, fittings, name show off, etc. Any helmet that is a good comfortable fit will be fine.

As said before. Spend money on a new lid. Your head and brains are worth more than $100

EDIT: I have a jacket you might be interested in.

I’ll also sing the praises of the HJC CL-14. I’ve just bought one recently and it’s great.
