Civil Engineer (hydro dams) - based in Wellington, but usually found in more isolated locales.

Previously a traffic signals engineer, but it made me feel dirty. Oh so dirty

The older I get the better I was!

I am so old now that I think I used to be good at everything, just can't remember what or how or why or who.

In the morning I am a mech eng ( design and make motor bike bits -seem to do more for my bikes than anyone elses )

In the Evening I play with kids ( Stop thinking that thought ...I know what you were thinking ,,,) but its true , we read books, talk and learn the occasional new word .

I have been a bike mechanic for Stuff. about.. 15-20 odd? years and a honda Mechanic for 20 of those years ...

With stints as A London Dispatch rider , in the late 80s

Now in the last couple of years I have discovered the Joys of Racing ...So I want to Focus more on that in the comming year ( before the missus finds out we are actually poor and make me do some real money paying work like stuff )

Background is in Logistics and Distribution management ( snore)

Stepped down about 3 years back to be sales boy/rep/yard hack for a major NZ drainage merchant. We do pipes, concrete products, more pipes, troughs, drainage channeling, more pipes, manholes, cast iron streetware, more pipes, and various brass, copper, plastic, and cast iron fittings, oh, and we do pipes as well. I guess if you lived locally, I could do you a good deal on the above.

On the side, I make computers for my customers. I have built about 10 or so, in the last 3 months. Other than that, I do very little.

Have a good engineering dept including a gun young welder who can weld just about anything (except titanium). Also foam and upholstery dept. All my factory staff are keen bikers (mostly dirt but I'm slowly cleaning them up!) so we can do bike seats etc.
