You need some GAITERS! Only $12.50 , from your friendly Army Surplus place in K Road, opposite the billboard of the topless chick with the huge tits. Y'can't miss them.

Boots that don't leak? One of those things like an honest politician, possible in theory but unknown in practice. Settle for gaiters.

Good pair of leather boots shouldnt leak, my John Bulls can handle standing in a river and then only leak when they are completly submerged, must be all the polish that has been put on them over the years, but alas the soles are failing on them and they cannot be resoled apparently

    Cool

I went out in this weather today..... in the car...
and saw one brave soul riding his bike up Waikamete Hill (west Auckland)
    I guess he doesn't own a car.

As I had to return home from Glen Eden, heading down some slippery roads covered in rubbish... I thought that I would aqua plane along the road.. twas not fun... Kept a close eye out on overhanging trees etc.. nothing like them breaking at the wrong moment in the high winds.

I have to venture out in it again later on for a couple of hours...
Cars being blown all over the show... and trucks swaying.. floods and rubbish everywhere.

I guess the news tonight maybe showing some damage done today..

As I was typing this my big blue wheelie recycle bin just blew over... Bottles went everywhere...

The worst is yet to come...
Think you've got problems? Dog outside has a medical collar (lampshade) on and is trying to walk around in the wind!
Poor bloody thing, wish I could stop laughing..
