    Couriers - who's the best

    Hi,

I am looking to send some of my stands around NZ. Who is the best/cheapest courier to do this in people's expereince?

Price wise, Castle Parcels are fairly competitive but lead time is generally 2 days. Otherwise NZ Couriers are very good service wise. Stay away from Skyroad - in my experience they lose a lot of stuff and are shocking with reembursing your loss.

Honestly post I just sent a set of forks from Christchurch to Wellington, weight 5Kg's post cost me $11 couriers were around the $20 mark
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

The best IMO is NZ couriers- not the cheapest tho, I've found the cheapest to be Fastway but their service is no where near as good as NZ C, you get what you pay for I guess

Certainly not NZC,I'm having very bad sercive from them lately - yesterday they took 22 hrs to deliver an overnight from Onehunga to Mt Roskill,a 5 minute drive.Yesterday I placed a pickup at 11.00am,it was picked up at 5.30pm that afternoon, and I've just had a call asking where is it.I've just rung to trace it and the service was totaly hopeless - more than 24 hrs to get a small parcel from Mt Roskill to Mt Wellington...NZC are CRAP!!!

Yes I have called NZ couriers, NZ post and fastway so far. NZ couriers seem the best for NI, they did quote $24 for upto 5kg in the SI, which is begining to get up a bit. But saying that SI is bloody miles away.

Yes those are good prices. NZ couriers quoting me more than that. North Island $12 and $24 for South Island. How did you get those prices? Quantity discount?
