If you are I'd recommend catching a lift with someone. It's nuts out there. The windows in our building sound like they're going to blow out.
I wouldn't even dream about takling the harbour bridge!

Its all about the game and how you play it.![]()
I'll be riding home in about 30 minutes. CBD to glenfield. Should be entertaining.
This is a picnic mate. I was riding from wellington to new plymouth on the 2nd or 3rd of January when the shit weather was happening. Gusting to 140km/h while I was heading around Foxton.
At one point I seriously had the bike on a 45 degree lean while travelling straight ahead, for at least 100m!
Ferry.......could still be fun....our building is swaying.......I love it...makes a change
I have that joyful experience in 10 minutes.
"Engage panic circuits....panic circuits engaged....."
Smoke me a kipper...I'll be back for breakfast
There is nothing to fear but fear itself...and spiders.
I was being blown from the right hand lane into the gravel on the right heading south through taranaki around mokau once, was rather scary! Lucky no one else was stupid enough to be on the road!Originally Posted by Devil

I've gone round the Esmond Road on-ramp leaning right before (for those who don't know, the on ramp is a nice flat long left hander)
I've ridden in stuff like this, but if you don't have to, it's best not to risk. Especially today, since we haven't had a good blast for ages, so all the weak tree branches are being blown everywhere. I might go take a pic of outside my work window. The road is green with tree stuff!!
Yup riding from the City to Kumeu.
I heard (at 2:00pm) there is/was a huge pile up on the NW near Te Atatu though -Westbound
Anyone got an update?
$2,000 cash if you find a buyer for my house, kumeuhouseforsale@straightshooters.co.nz for details
Alright - I admit, I chickened out today and took the car.![]()

Supposedly a truck had hit the median barrier. As reported by one of our guys, it was @ a 90degree angle to the median and another little truck involved was a bit squished............ then there was another 6 car nose to tail further down toward Patiki heading West as well. Sounds like a suckful ride home MDU......shame it's not past Lincon road, at least you could of shot down Waitakere Rd....
