Hi, Just a quick intro!

I'm Mike, a Brit currently in transition to NZ in search of a better lifestyle, cleaner place to live, nice roads, chaper fuel and of course a chance to spend more time on 2 wheels.

My current bike is my first, after passing my test last April. At 29 I suppose I am a 'Born Again Biker', doing things I didn't do in my youth, some could say it was a mid life crisis!

However, here's the toy (pics attached):

Thanks! We (me my wife and my daughter) were in NZ last year for a few weeks, around Auckland and further north to Bay of Islands.
The country as a whole was fantastic, the roads, way of life and the people. The only ignorant people I met were tourists!

Anyway, our house plus my bike is up for sale next month, then hopefully off to Wellington in search of IT jobs and an R6

I'm currently living in Darlington although it's a cess-pit. I'm from Hartlepool and Norton (more recently) so I'm about 40 miles south of Newcastle.
