Mega gravel out at Port Waikato

Just went for a quick hoon out to Port Waikato only to find there was no hooning to be had there is a shit load of resurfacing being done (must have just done it today) cause the guys were just leaving. There is now tar and gravel all stuck to my fairing

So I wouldn't bother heading out that way for a week or two unless you like gravel and tar.

    Damn

Not my area but fuck I hate that shit, especially on your favorite hooning road. its so much worse when they pull the signs too early - still loose seal on the centre and outside of the lane.
I love the smell of twin V16's in the morning..

Hey Apple, yeah man the bike is covered in shit!. Bloody sticky tar crap on the fairing and swingarm. Can't use degreaser on the fairings so I hope the wash stuff I have is gonna get it off. Will have to try and clean it tomorrow seeing its valentines tonight I don't think I will be allowed to give the blade a wash...hmmm maybe?

Hey mate, thanks for the warning on Port Waikato. Was going to take the missus out for a run that way. Good job I didn't.

Hey, to get tar off paintwork, use good old standard butter on a rag. Does the trick without damage or discoulouration or any other nasties.

    Yeah mate

Plain old butter. Works a treat. Make sure it's 100% butter, not the mixes or 50/50 margarines etc.
