Dont think it would... despite being a 680cc, most 400cc would leave it for dust, let alone 600's and 1000's

A scooters a scooter and should never try and compete with a bike

Lol, do you know how much that thing costs...

Unless I was superbly gay then I would never be slashing that sort of $$$ on

    a) a honda
    b) a scooter
    c) a purple vehicle
    d) all of the above rolled in to one big gay package!

That's a beautiful summary of the bike right there :-)

That's not a fricken scooter, it's an identity crisis on wheels. It's a motorbike with an auto transmission, wannabe sprotsbike looks and crusier riding position.

So, then, arguably, the best of three worlds. Now, if they added the weather protection and long range of a tourier (it already ahs the ABS), it could be the perfect bike. Maybe.

You will be able to see for yourself soon - NZ is getting them.

    Details here: http://www.honda-motorcycles.co.nz/b...elID=264&type=

    Only $19,995

I think they are interesting and I suspect there will be more like them in the future.

Having said that I fail to understand how Blue Wing NZ can bring them in as a new model at $20k and totally ignore the very sweet CB400-4 that Aussie get. There appears to be little drive to get people into bikes, just back on them.

Nah, the way you've put it across is lightly annoying.

To be honest I'd love to own a 50-180cc scooter but it'd have to look the shit...

    Here's my idea.

Take the front fairing (including headlight etc) and tail section from the Manufacturers top 600cc supersports model. Wrap/modify to fit onto the scooter chassis. Give it good handling suspension and a bit of a performance kit.

Think of a Yamaha Jog, but with an 06+ R6 look from the front, and that sexy hornets tail rear end.

    That would be a sports-scooter.
