Sure it's your choice, but you're not the only person being affected by "your choice".

    Nothing personal - but I don't care.

Edit - well, I do - I'm sorry you have to do that shit - but not enough to influnce my choice of what I reckon is appropriate equipment for where i will be riding.

Sometimes that can be draggin's, a tee, boots, fingerless gloves and an open face.
That's *my* minimum - for a relaxed ride. Not what I would recommend for a newbie.

Also worth noting that the range of flow through jackets etc available now there are plenty of options for armoured hot weather riding.

But sometimes thats not being a bit of a BIKER is about.

It's just one of those days, where you don't wanna wake up,
    everything is fucked, everybody sucks,
You don't really know why but you wanna justify ripping someone's head off

If you can't handle the job switch occupations. I respect Police and Abulance drivers for handling the messy consequences of idiotic behaviour, but I don't think they have any right to bitch about how hard there job is.

I'd rather have the scars on my legs reminding me of a few bike rides gone wrong, I think of them as the most personal tattoos you can get. (+ a constant reminder that I shouldn't ride without gear)
I wave to every biker I see.

Only forefeited if it truly pays what it's worth.

For me to do either would need $300k.

Some heat is just too unbearable for proper gear. You’d pass out from heat exhaustion if you tried. But here it's individuals’ choice. I've been riding around in jeans and t-shirt lately if I'm just going to the shops.

On that subject, had a guy from the states come over here for a couple weeks riding. Told me that his friends in Florida generally don't ride in the Summer as it is far too hot. Even in the evenings. They leave their riding for the winter!!!

I'm a registered nurse, so tell me something new please. You started a crusade against smokers etc whos'actions can potientially upset your day?
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.
