If you want to go fast, then buying a faster bike is usually the cheapest way, but modifying buckets can be fun.
Sometimes half the fun is playing in the workshop. Plus anyone can go and buy a faster bike, but there's more satisfaction to be gained by doing the work yourself, and you learn a hell of lot more that way too.

Keep up the good work TygerTung

I'm getting a bigger bike in any case, but I just want to play with this one for a bit.

It's a great fun bike to ride, I love how it has the skinny tires and it's so light so you can really chuck it into the corners.

On straight lines it's rubbish, but around twisty stuff like the port hills it's great.

    Small bikes are great!

I had a ride on my future bike on the weekend, a proper sports bike a Kawasaki KR250, felt a lot different to ride, much faster though, much stiffer suspension, so much different and fun in it's own way, just doesn't feel as if you can chuck it around as much, a whole different ball game I reckon.

Bugger mate. Those CG125 are pretty cool damn bikes. I had one as my first bike. Takes alot to kill them.

    Cool pics there...

I used to have a CG125 when I lived in Chch too. Had a lot of fun in the port hills on it.

Rego number 64JDH. Is it still out there somewhere?
