    Will your Mum ride pillion?

I took the G to Alexandra for a Wof with Mum on the back. She said it took her back 50 years. Which gave me licence to increase the fang factor on the way back!
    edit:
btw I was expressly forbidden by said Mum to have a bike as a youngster, probably just as well considering the road sense required.
    Insert witticism.

The mother hates bikes. Made the old man give up his bikes when they got married. Don't think he ever forgave himself for that one. Best day of his life when my brother and I got our bikes. Worst day of my mum's life...

My mum hates bikes. There would be no way she would ever get on a bike. She even hates it when I take my girls out for a ride.
Oh well... each to there own

I said yes, as she did with my dad, but I don't know if she would get on the back of my bike. Maybe only if dad was riding it, which he wouldn't be

Mum was semi ok with me getting the ZZR250, but wanted absolutely nothing to do with the ZX7R.

my mum hates me riding... thinks the bike looks better behind a car, 2 lawnmowers and a pile of old blankets in the garage... i shift the mowers and uplift the blankets often... but she still secretely tells my friends i'm riding with to go slow and have me home by dark.

On another note... what is it with guys not liking girls riding, none of my male friends like me riding....think i'll kill myself... and the latest was last night, a guy i used to pillion with all the time was like "i don't know about you riding".. like he was worried or something... me thinks double standards....

    No, she never would

Yep even took my old mum on the Coast to Coast a couple of years back. Was taking it easy untill she leaned over and asked why everyone was passing us, after that it was up the speed even overtaking quite a few. She was given a water pistol before the ride & hung off the back squirting people.
Good fast ride to Herbertville, Mum seemed quite relaxed untill I told her how fast we had been going then she needed a drink.
Also took her out on the track on mine & Speedpro's bucket racing sidecar, sideways a few times. Excellent.
If you're not living on the edge you're not leaning over far enough

I would love to pillion my Mum but she has passed away.
She rode bikes, as did Dad, so I was brought up with bikes.
It's in the blood from both my paternal and maternal side.
But way back then, the bikes weren't fast.
I don't know what she would think of my latest, but Dad loves it, even though he can't lift a leg over it now.
You can see the love/addiction in his eyes.

Nah, don't worry about it, we're not all like that. It's good to see more of you out there doing it. I was surprised to see how many chicks were on here when I first started lurking, tis a good thing. My daughter has just turned 15 and is saving for her 1st bike. In fact she's in her room studying the motorcyclists road code right now. She's not interested in a car licence at all. I don't think her mum's too keen on the idea though - oh well.

Mean while back on topic ...
My mum was dead against me getting a bike way back when - I bet she was real pissed with Dad when he came with a 50 for me one day. She never said anything to me about it, but he must been real unpopular - good on him.
The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!

Why would she? She rides her own Kwaka Meansteak 1500 (fun bike for a cruiser too btw).

She told me I was allowed to get a bike when I'm 40...... never have been very patient!!! lol
It's just one of those days, where you don't wanna wake up,
    everything is fucked, everybody sucks,
You don't really know why but you wanna justify ripping someone's head off
