only serious doubt because some bush lawyer says so. ellis has been through the wringer but still no grounds for re-trial or quashing have been found. as for watson? aside from pleading ng, i don't think he has otherwise pleaded his innocence. i have been privy to some of his background and past movements (prior to the sounds murders) and those actions speak volumes.

No grounds for Ellis? Just read the book. The non-existant rooms and tunnels that the kids were molested in. The women that supposedly helped Ellis and whose charges were dropped. This was a classic case of hysteria over ritual abuse that occurred in several countries around the same period. They had the courage to admit the errors though.
Remember how many trials Thomas had? It took a journalist, a PM and an Aussie Judge to find the truth for him.
Our legal establishment can't be trusted to find anything that may reflect badly on their system.

sorry I havent read any further back than this page.

I ride with Scotts brother, So I have heard and listened to this discussion many a time. Scott was a shit head at times..... so that made him easy pray, now I have no idea if he did it or not, but the way in which he was stitched up is pure bullshit.

How the hell can someone go to jail for something that may have never happened??? no bodies were ever found... hell they might be living it up on a island somewhere in the Bahamas for all we know.

Now supposed evidence just does not compute.... eg: the two sightings 1 in the straight and the other in a bay in the sounds... well the times given its not possible for scotts boat to travel at that speed.

we all know about the boat taxi guy that said he droped the two missing off at a boat that needed a ladder to get onto... Scotts boat sits a water line.

I would say that the cops were under pressure to get a conviction,they had scott watson in there sights and went for it.To completly disregard what people were saying about the mystery ketch especially the guy with the water taxi who said he pulled up along side it,well you have to wonder.
