    Public attitude

What is it with public attitude nowadays? Here I was, at a mate's funeral today, heaps of us there in uniform, and this dickhead on a Suzuki pulls up in the middle of the day, spot lights blaring. I suggest to him that they are a bit bright, and that they don't look like they are aligned properly.

He sneers and grumbles and carries on at me. Bloody hell, I was only giving him a gentle warning! He better hope he doesn't see me when I'm on the motorway of he'll be in for it.

You'd think some people could just take their warning and live with it.

Very amusing. Ithink there might be some stirring going on here relating to This
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

So you're based in Wellington then?
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

One of the 'joys' of the job, is that you're always on the job. Just look who it is that steps up to the mark at a crash scene, at a fight, at a kid drowning etc, it's often an off-duty cop.
