Best of luck, will keep an eye out for you. Have you notified bike wreckers of the make/model/age/frame number? They can be quite helpful in tracking things down.

Grrr~ that bites. I saw the ad for it just the other day and was thinking "Mmm... tidy RVF".

I remember reading a Performance Bikes article long ago about a vigilante group of bikers in the UK that mete out their own justice to bike thieves. Apparently they would hide in a van across the street from the 'bait' - some late model sportsbike, and when the scum come to nick off with it, they drag the bast into the back for a hiding that not only they, but their friends as well, won't forget for a long long time.

But I'm not condoning this sort of behaviour kids, no no. Remember, it's not assault if they 'fall over' a few times, down stairs, cliff faces, etc...
    Keep it rubber-side down...

That's terrible! I park my bike on Alfred street sometimes when I'm at school...

Alfred St is so open and there's usually lots of people milling about - scary that theiving scum can strike in a location like that...

I'd better be more dilligent about putting on my disc lock.

Good luck getting that scoot back - it's a mint ride...

Remember to look out for the bike but not in that colour. There was a thread on someones stolen RGV that had been spray painted black or something very poorly and had stickers ripped off. Fortunately the police found it

its really hard to recover stolen stuff if you have no leads, unless their is video or a rego plate of their car that is in their name there isnt much we can do..
was referring to the other thread that popped up yesterday about a person whos stolen car was stopped mulltiple times and the occupant even ticketed, but no stolen car noticed by the police, and it was the civilian who did the ground work and recovered the vehicle.
