Sorry mate, I just did not see ye there......

In need to blow off some steam here cause this morning I was the lucky owner of a brandspanking new ER-6n (10 days old ) and now I am sitting here with a pack of frozen peas on my swollen knee and a roaring headache but this is Bikey-site so: bent handlebars dentet and scratched sidepanels, tank etc etc ..
I should be considering myself lucky but I still wanted to strangle the old bastard when he told me :"Sorry there, I did not see ye!!!"
Fer fucks sake mate, ye are standing still in your tintop on a give way sign, you tell me you looked right, then left and then you pulled out right into me, knocking me into the gutter.......................
If you cannot see a motorbike that is a few yards away, bright yellow headlight beaming , you should not be on the road.

But what really pissed me off was that the old idiot , the ambulance officer and both cops sort of treated this as something that :" HAD TO BE ACCEPTED "

"Its just a matter of when, not if, Sir said one cop politely.

Now the old gitt is going to get an infringement notice, probably an instant fine of a $ 100 while I am here nursing my bits and pieces and a broken bike....

Have I got no: STRANGELING -RIGHTS or : GIVE EM A KICK UP THE ARSE RIGHTS ???????????????

OK, that feels a bit better

One of those things that ahs to be accepted??? He can accept it next time you kick his wing mirror off.

Hopefully ya get a new one out of it, put his premiums up by making him claim on his insurance

    Bugger mate, that truly sux.

I've had cops look at my bike as they are writing out a speeding ticket and say they can see why it would be hard to keep to the limit - "It has to be accepted" sounds like a reasonable response in that situation.

Gutted Mate. What a silly old twat. At least the cops have got involved so that will make it harder for him to change his story.
If I can help in any way give me a yell.

I hope the old bugger loses his license for an appropriate period.

Good onya for venting it out, glad it made you feel better. I read to where you said "I was the lucky owner" and then my heart kinda sank - THAT SUCKS!!!

Unfortunately you are living in NZ so he won't get punnished...move to Turkey or somewhere and you could probably witness his castration!! I think them Arabs have got some things right!

I don't agree with what the cop said either, some riders will never get side-swiped! You have my sympathies. Heal up quick and hope the bike gets sorted out smoothly!

    thanks guys......

thanks for your sympathy and input.
Indeed the irony is, that I could have had a black or silver one back in December but decided to wait for a yellow one to arrive from Europe thinking yellow would be most visible.
Maybe if I would have driven faster..........................
